(Fire departments will be charged a non-refundable registration fee of $ 65.00 for each student accepted into this course. Fire departments will be sent an invoice on a quarterly basis.) Applications should be send as soon as possible to give students sufficient time to complete the preclass assignment. Departments will receive an Application Status Report by fax to their department shortly after applying. To be eligible to attend a course, all students must be registered and approved prior to the course start date by the Registrar’s Office at the Ontario Fire College. Students are not approved to attend the course until they receive confirmation showing they are approved on the Application Status Report.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Once Tim receives this he will send information on the online preclass assignment directly to the student (We can copy the chief upon request). Progress on the preclass assignment will be tracked online, and students that have not completed it will be advised that they cannot attend the course. The preclass will include some basic skills practice. We will make available a link to the preclass information sheet and an info sheet for fire department trainers who will be assisting students with the preclass skills.
Participant course fee of $ 195.00 is to help offset costs associated with offering this course at Aweres Fire Hall for fire departments in the Algoma District.

Students will be supplied with a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Students will be responsible for breakfast, supper and accommodations if required. Students are to bring all PPE (Bunker Gear), an SCBA and spare bottle.
Zone coordinators are responsible to forward this information to Fire Departments in their zone.
